We had to get creative to survive yet another day off school. We had read a book about the 100th day of school, and Zachary wanted to make hats. They each made a hat with 100 stickers. Then, Zachary, ENTIRELY ON HIS OWN, made a chain with 100 strips of paper. He worked very diligently, stapling each loop, and counting every 20 loops or so. It kept him busy for a good part of the morning. We also broke out the paint kit from Connie and Don. The boys worked together, calling themselves "a fine artist team," to create their "masterpiece."
