Tic Tac Toe Homework

Jeremy is in second grade this year, which means it's the year of the tic tac toe homework. He has to pick 3 of 9 different assignments each week.  Almost every week, one of the choices is to make a recipe, then write about it.  So far, we've made coffee cup cakes, nutella hot chocolate, english muffin mini-pizzas (which we had for dinner a couple of weeks ago), and apple carousels.  It's been fun to watch Jeremy become better at reading and making the recipes.  Though, honestly, it's the cleanup I wish he'd be a little more dedicated to!
