So, there was not much actual bike riding on our planned Memorial Day bike riding session. We took the boys to the parking lot at school, where Jeremy was supposed to ride his bike while Tim finally got Zachary to ride without his training wheels. (The theory being a larger area meant less steering to worry about.) Zachary is completely capable of riding his bike without training wheels - he does it all time until he realizes Tim has let go. Let's just say the plan didn't quite work out. After some frustrating and tearful moments, we gave up and let the kids play on the playground. This was a pretty big treat for Jeremy, who usually has to stay on the preschool side of the playground. It was a nice day and lots of fun despite the whole bike riding thing. It will happen eventually, I know it!
