December Photo Project Day 7

Kind of a busy and yet boring day.  Gym, grocery, cleaning, goetta- and dinner-making, appointments.

This Christmas cactus was a birthday gift.

The boy working on some homework:

That's it for today!

December Photo Project Day 6

We gave ourselves a later start than usual this Sunday morning.  The morning sun shining in my family room window made me happy.

In the late afternoon, we headed over to the nativity to be guards and a narrator.

We had some tired shepherds by the end of the night.  Here they are right before the last performance.  They got up and were just as enthusiastic for the last performance as they were for the first!

December Photo Project Day 4

What a day!  Part 1: Donation drop off for refugee families at Catholic Charities.  (Helping a friend drop off these welcome baskets she collected from her friends and neighbors.)  This was a beautiful way to start the day.

Part 2:  Helping with nativity setup at church.  I even wound up helping finish the tree decorating!

Nobody puts Baby Jesus in a box...

Part 3: Mom's taxi service - pick up, drive, drop off, repeat, repeat.  Squeeze in dinner at Zab on one of the trips.
