Spring Break 2012 Day 0

Spring break had barely begun when I got a call from my friend Robin.  I had spent the morning babysitting Reece and the afternoon at LPS Science Day (which was MADNESS!)  Honestly, when I got the call at 3:55 PM, I was laying on my couch thinking about how I might recover from the day.  Then, Robin told me that Brian was sick and unable to use one of their tickets for LEGO Kidsfest.  Did I want to come, use his ticket, and only have to buy tickets for the boys?  Considering the alternative was helping Tim spread mulch, I decided that Kidsfest was the way to go!  We met up at 4:30, stopped at Wendy's for dinner, and drove down.  We weren't even 100% sure we'd get tickets, but we did.  It turned out to be great fun.  The boys especially liked the Ninjago Spinjago area and getting to build pieces to be place in Creation Nation.  Zachary made a playground for Minnesota and his name for California.  Jeremy made a prison yard (I don't know what inspired that) for Hawaii!
