HOLY

I'm not sure what's holy about a snow day.  The 5:30 AM phone call to announce the 90 minute delay?  The 7 AM phone call that school was closed?  Waking Jeremy up and telling him he missed the bus WAS pretty fun, though.  When we went downstairs, this is what we saw outside:

  There was a hawk out there, too, but I didn't get a photo of it.


Then, boys were sent out to shovel.  They did such a good job on our driveway, they continued on to the neighbor's.

 And while we were at it, we headed over to Mom's house to clear her drive and help with some baking. A holy mess:

Not only did we get some cookies from Mom, she also made us a quiche for dinner!
