SIGN

It was a full day over at our house this Sunday before Christmas.  There was copious rain overnight:

One result was this road closure on the way to church:

As our little kiddos gathered for snack time, the teens were having a prayer circle outside our window:
Oops - forgot to change camera settings, but I kinda like how it came out:

River is pretty high - kinda sure I WOULDN'T love to be in Loveland in a canoe with you today!!  (I drive past this sign an average of probably 3 times a day!!)

Christmas carnage happened while we were at church.  It was Jeremy's advent calendar.  Zach actually offered to share his.  Christmas miracle!

Zach lost electronics today because he was watching videos instead of reading on his tablet last night before bed.  This is one of the things he did instead (constructing a volcano from a kit he got for his 11th birthday from Aunt Louise).

Then, he made peppermint chocolate chip scones from a mix I got from a kid in my Sunday school class:

Meanwhile, Jeremy and Tim got out the bow and arrow set Jeremy earned selling Cub Scout popcorn.

We ordered pizza for dinner, then went to the Nash's house for their annual Christmas caroling party.

Paige made these cute merengue cookies:
